Mister-E-Liquid Moves to Four-Day Workweek

To better serve you, our valued customer, Mister-E-Liquid is making another innovative change: starting the first week in January 2020, Mister-E-Liquid is leading the industry again, by transitioning to a four-day workweek!
The only thing you might notice is that our Customer Service department will now be available for the extended hours of 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM EST Monday through Thursday, and closed Friday through Sunday: you’ll still be getting the same amazing products at the same lead times!
We firmly believe that this industry-leading change will increase our efficiency, improve our product, and provide a better quality of living for our employees.
Despite being at the forefront of what we believe is going to be a common trend in workplaces, Mister-E-Liquid is certainly not the first company to move to a four-day workweek. Many factories and hospitals have used four-day rotating schedules out of necessity for years, but offices are now trying the idea, with amazing results.
Microsoft trialed a four-day workweek in their Japanese offices, with amazing results: productivity actually increased by 40%, while offering benefits like 23% lower electricity costs and thus lower ecological impact. Similar results were seen by New Zealand company Perpetual Guardian, who in October of 2018 permanently restructured their company to allow for a four-day workweek, after seeing 20% gains in employee productivity. The experience even inspired them to start 4 day week, a non-profit whose purpose is to facilitate like-minded workplaces.
It’s not just about productivity - though that’s fantastic! It’s also about quality of life. Longer weekends mean more time to spend with friends and family, and longer periods to travel. 20% fewer workdays means 20% fewer commuting miles - and with the winters in Michigan, that offers benefits in safety, too! 50% more days spent at home rather than the office means 50% more healthy, home-cooked meals. Studies have overwhelmingly shown that employees prefer shorter workweeks and longer weekends - wouldn’t you?
